For more than a year now, dozens of volunteers have been envisioning this day, locating a site, building a budget, and recruiting presenters. Now it’s time to expand our ranks with the Day Of volunteers who will welcome participants, manage logistics, and handle the hundreds of other details on site. Apply today!

We are primarily recruiting for Day Of Volunteers. All positions and specific shifts are listed on our volunteer application form.

With limited underwriting from a small group of financial sponsors, our all-volunteer production team is relying on ticket sales and tax-deductible donations to cover the costs of this event. We’re grateful to those who are able to volunteer and purchase a full-price ticket ($60) or make a donation.

If you’re on a fixed income, we have a limited number of half-price $30 Work/Trade tickets available. Day Of Volunteers generally work a 4 hour shift and are eligible for a half-price $30 Work/Trade ticket to the event. Advance Volunteers who also do a Day Of shift qualify for free admission to the event.

After your volunteer application is in and we’ve offered you a position, we’ll also confirm your ticket status.

Thank you for playing your part in this community-building event! Together, we can reconnect to life and death and to each other, reducing the silence, fear, and isolation that too often surround the topic of death.
